AVG Adds Anti-Spyware and Anti-Rootkit To It’s Free Software Line-Up
When rebuilding my computer, I discovered that AVG is now offering an anti-spyware and an ante-rootkit version of their software. The anti-spyware offers a shield feature that monitors to see when spyware is being downloaded onto your computer. This feature doesn’t normally come with free versions. I discovered today that the “shield” option that I mentioned in the previous post has now been removed from the free version of AVG’s Anti-Spyware software. They must have shut it off with an update recently. Very disappointing…
