This post is a bit off topic from my regular posts, but you may already know that I am involved in the local soccer community. It’s my way of giving back to the community. So, I wanted to share this with everyone.
Youth Soccer Challenge
Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus
All boys and girls ages 10-14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2009 Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge. The local competition will be held September 12, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lancaster Catholic High School sports complex. The soccer field is located close to Stauffer Park.
The Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district and state competitions. International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters based in New Haven, CT on scores from state-level competitions. All boys and girls 10 to14 years-old are eligible to participate and will compete in their respective age divisions. All contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event. Participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent.
