Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month German-speakers from Europe and the US meet for German conversation, have a drink and maybe some food. Come join us! The amerikanische “Du” rule is always in effect – das heisst everyone here is on a first name basis, and may be addressed as “Du” rather than as “Sie.” This is to facilitate informal conversation and to eliminate anxieties and misunderstandings that can arise when native and non-native speakers converse in German in an American social setting.
