Here’s a quick marketing tip.
I’ve had the same problem with companies I’ve run. You want to do a newsletter, you want to start with email, but you know, you’re racking your brain trying to figure out what should I write about, what should I put in this email, or how can I do that every week, have another email?
If you already have a site, you already have your company, you already have a site, you already have information on the site, maybe you have a blog, just take all the old blog content and start packaging it up into emails, and that becomes your newsletter.
Then you have, let’s say you have 10 articles on your site, you already have 10 emails, so you’re already started, so you don’t have to, gives you a nice cushion. So what you do is you take the article.
You can do it a couple of ways. You can either put the whole article in the email and send it out. I prefer to try and bring them back to the site, so you start out with a, an overview, or a blurb, or something that entices them to want to click through and read the full article.
And you’re not creating new content. So, especially if you’ve already paid for a bunch of content for the site, it’s a great way to reuse that and get it into emails. So, don’t go, don’t ruin your brain trying to figure out where can I get new content.
Use the old stuff.
