Twitter is trying to bring more people to their actual domain Twitter.com. Since it’s start Twitter has relied heavily on third part apps for people to access their service, but in the last year they are creating their apps and improving the functionality on their own site to keep moor people at home.
The new design will show @mentions, retweets, searches and lists above your timeline and along right side you’ll still see the old features such as, whom you recently followed and who recently followed you, favorites, and Trending Topics. It will now be easier to view images and other media as well. With all this though, you may need to redesign your custom background.
